Washington, D.C. — Continuing a successful partnership that began nearly a decade ago, the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO®) has renewed its participation in a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to collaborate on improving the overall performance and management of decentralized wastewater treatment systems.

PT. IAPMO Group Indonesia has been appointed by the Indonesian National Standardization Agency (BSN) as the first product certification body in Indonesia for certification of SNI 9166:2023 Polyethylene Geomembranes and SNI 9167:2023 Polyethylene Geocells. This appointment is based on the decree of the head of the Indonesian National Standardization Agency No. 474/KEP/BSN/11/2023.

The Houston City Council, representing the nation’s fourth most populous city, has voted to adopt the 2021 editions of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC®) and Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC®). This vote follows an extensive review conducted as part of the city’s Construction Code Modernization Project, which involved more than 200 community stakeholders representing more than 50 construction and industry associations.
