Hardcopy versions will not be available at the meetings.

The technical committee meeting monograph contains every change proposal submitted for the 2023 edition of the WE•Stand as part of the ANSI-accredited consensus code development process employed by IAPMO.
Topic areas for proposed changes to the WE•Stand include: remote inspections of plumbing systems; allowable uses of treated blackwater, gray water, and stormwater, including irrigation restrictions for edible crops; maximum flush volumes for water closets; maximum flow rates for lavatory faucets, showerheads, and wash fountains; commercial food service water consumption, including steam cookers, ice makers, and dipper well faucets; laboratory water use and treatment, including reverse osmosis recovery rates, faucet flow rates, glassware washers, and waste systems; water treatment system maintenance cycle controls; vivarium watering and washing; leak detection and control devices for water supply and distribution systems; data center water use effectiveness (WUE); cross-connection inspection and testing for alternate water source systems; identification and signage for potable and nonpotable water systems; backflow protection for alternate water source system connections; trench separation of potable and nonpotable water piping; hot water recirculation and distribution systems for residential buildings; water softener hardness thresholds and regeneration water consumption; and professional qualifications for designers and installers.

IAPMO® is seeking volunteers to participate on the Technical Correlating Committee (TCC) to work toward correlation of the 2030 editions of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC®) and Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC®). The deadline to submit an application is May 22.
