    IAPMO Seeks USPSHTC Task Group Members

    Ontario, Calif. — IAPMO® is seeking applicants to serve as technical experts on the Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code (USPSHTC) task groups.
     
    The USPSHTC Technical Committee is seeking special subject experts to join the following task groups.

    1. Private vs. Public Aquatic Venues: The scope of this task group is to review, reorganize, and clarify existing code provisions to distinguish their applicability to public aquatic venues, private aquatic venues, or both.
    2. New and Existing Aquatic Venue Types: The scope of this task group is to review and update terminology for aquatic venue types and to develop requirements for the design, installation, construction, and water quality of both new and existing aquatic venues.

    Task group members will participate via conference call or web meeting, provide their perspective on the code, and assist in drafting recommendations for action by the USPSHTC Technical Committee. Applicants are not required to be members of the USPSHTC Technical Committee.

    IAPMO Returns in Key Role at 2025 National High-Performance Buildings Week

    IAPMO® will once again take an active role in national High-Performance Buildings Week, returning to Washington, D.C., this week. Celebrating more than two decades of support for this progressive initiative, IAPMO will join members of the High-Performance Buildings Coalition (HPBC) on Capitol Hill to advocate for resilient, efficient, and sustainable building practices.
