Ontario, Calif. — The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO®) is seeking volunteers to participate on the Technical Correlating Committee (TCC) working toward the correlation of the 2024 editions of the Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa, and Hot Tub Code (USPSHTC) and Uniform Solar, Hydronics and Geothermal Code (USHGC) . The deadline to submit an application is May 6.
Members are being sought in the following categories: manufacturer, user, installer/maintainer, labor, research/standards/testing laboratory, enforcing authority, consumer, and special expert. This committee is being assembled in accordance with the Regulations Governing Consensus Development of the USPSHTC and USHGC.
The TCC is the body responsible for resolving conflicts, achieving correlation among the recommendations of the technical committees, and correcting errors and omissions. All persons wishing to apply to the TCC must complete an application for Technical Correlating Committee Membership (see link below), including a résumé of qualifications.

IAPMO’s Systems Certification Body (SCB) has issued the first certificates under the Aluminum Anodizers Council (AAC) Certification Program, providing independent third-party verification of conformity with established performance requirements for anodized aluminum finishes and products.
IAPMO® is pleased to announce that Shirley Dewi has been promoted to executive vice president of IAPMO R&T, where she will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the organization’s certification and compliance operations, including Product Certification, the Systems Certification Body (SCB) and Continuous Compliance.
Construction Products Group of IAPMO’s Uniform Evaluation Service (UES) is now an accredited certification body (ISO/IEC 17065) for The Polymeric Exterior Products Association’s (PEPA) VSI Product Certification Program and a PEPA member.
