IAPMO R&T, R&T Lab, EGS, UES, IBT, RPA Make Impressions During Slate of Tradeshows

Ontario, Calif. — IAPMO R&T, North America’s premier third-party certification body for plumbing and mechanical products, IAPMO R&T Lab and IAPMO EGS recently connected with existing and potential clients during the popular 2019 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, capping a hugely successful run of winter tradeshows for The IAPMO Group.

Other business units hitting the road early in 2019 included Uniform Evaluation Services (UES) and Institute of Building Technology (IBT) at the NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS), co-located with KBIS at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and the Sprayfoam Show in Daytona Beach Florida, Feb. 4-7. UES also attended the World of Concrete, Feb. 4-7 in Las Vegas, and the International Roofing Expo, Feb. 11-13, in Nashville. The Radiant Professionals Alliance (RPA) attended the AHR Expo, Jan. 12-16 in Atlanta.

KBIS, among the nation’s largest trade events year after year, once again brought together kitchen and bath dealers, designers, architects, remodelers, wholesalers and custom builders for residential and commercial kitchens and bathrooms, with nearly 100,000 attendees despite unseasonably cold temperatures and snow in Las Vegas. Representatives from IAPMO R&T, R&T Lab and EGS met with industry decision makers along the sprawling show floor and at their respective booths, demonstrating a comprehensive menu of testing and conformity assessment services available throughout North America.

In all, UES reached nearly 140,000 attendees during the IBS (67,000), Sprayfoam (1,200), World of Concrete (60,000), and International Roofing Expo (10,000) shows, bringing incredible exposure to the fastest-growing provider of building product evaluation reports in America.

“The early show season has been awesome this year,” said Richard Beck, UES Vice President. “Our message was delivered loud and clear as we met face to face with many current and future Uniform Evaluation Report holders. Business is about strengthening relationships and these shows proved to be a great success.”

In addition to exhibiting on the show floor, the RPA participated in the AHR Expo’s education track of more than 120 free seminars, professional certification and continuing education courses offered by industry experts, including the RPA’s “Providing Safety, Efficiency, and Value with Hydronic Snow Melting,” “Boiling Down to the Best Boiler Solution,” and “The BEST Way to Compare HVAC Systems in the Early Project Design Phase.”

“Also worth noting, attendance at the annual Hydronics Industry Alliance – Commercial breakfast meeting was up again this year,” said Les Nelson, RPA Vice President. “Each year, we look forward to the growing support for the RPA by hydronics and radiant industry members in attendance at the AHR Expo.”
