Candidates may apply for reciprocity by submitting the following:

• Copies of certifications that relate to the certification that they are seeking reciprocity. The certification must be verifiable and current.  
• Copy of current identification card
• Copy of certificate of completion of training programs related to the exam that you are seeking reciprocity.
• Copy of certification related to the exam that you are seeking reciprocity.

IAPMO does not have any reciprocal agreements with any states for certification exams.   Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

If any information is missing you will be contacted by IAPMO staff, however, the more complete the information that is provided, the faster a determination can be made.  Please provide us with a phone number where you can be contacted during business hours AND an email address.
