Types of Courses Available
At the Online Learning Center, you will find learning and exam preparation opportunities that are designed to be exciting, engaging, and practical. Some of these opportunities include:
| Practice Exams |
IAPMO’s practice exams are designed to help you prepare for your certification exams by simulating the certification exam taking experience. These practice exams are developed using the same task lists as the actual certification exams. Upon completion of a practice exam, you can review your performance in order to identify areas in which you are strong and areas where you might need more study. Each practice exam allows you to earn .2 CEUs and costs $59. |

| Virtual Workshops |
These interactive courses will test your code knowledge with activities that ask you to apply what you know about the code to real world problems. Building upon your existing code knowledge, these courses help you to building the skills to effectively use your code knowledge in the field. For example, you will be provided with a real-world situation and asked to determine whether or not installations are code compliant. You will also be asked to identify areas in the code that support your response. Each virtual workshop course allows you to earn .2 CEUs and costs $59. |

| Uniform Codes e-Courses |
These courses will help you learn about or refresh your knowledge on technical topics, such as the plumbing and mechanical codes, as well as non-technical courses such as legal issues in code administration and other soft skill training. Depending on the course, users can earn between .2 and .5 CEUs. These course prices range from $20 to $69. |

Development |
These free non-technical professional development courses are provided to help develop the everyday job skills that are not covered in technical and code training. Some of the code topics being provided at no cost to you are Industrial Safety, Communication Skills, Ethics, Management Skills,Staff and Leadership Development, Computer Skills, Organizational Skills, Project Management, and Sexual Harassment. |

Setting Up Your Account
From the log-in screen, click on the “I need to create an account” link. Then, simply enter the appropriate information and create a username and password. Once your account is created, you can view the course offerings in the course catalog and register for online courses and practice exams.
