Who belongs to IAPMO?
Members of IAPMO are, typically, plumbing and/or mechanical inspectors, engineers, and code officials; plumbing and mechanical contractors; manufacturers of plumbing, mechanical, and building products; and others having an interest in the Uniform Codes. IAPMO members throughout the world share a common interest in providing safe and efficient plumbing and mechanical systems and preserving and protecting the health and welfare of the public.
How often do I pay my dues?
IAPMO membership fees quoted are annual fees Your membership benefits begin the day you apply and will remain valid for one full year. Shortly before the expiration of you annual membership, you will be sent a renewal notice for another year of member benefits.
What is the difference between a Regular - Government Membership, Organization Membership and Regular - Individual Membership?
There are additional benefits for Government or Organization memberships. Members in these categories will receive a complimentary UPC and UMC soft cover for each code cycle — that’s two free books every three years!* Additionally, all employees of the governmental unit or organization member are eligible to receive member benefits. Regular – Individual Membership benefits are limited to the person identified as the IAPMO member.
*Membership must be current to qualify.
